Master the Art of Channel Setting!

Kick off the day by taking a raw casting and transforming it into a perfectly prepped ring, ready for channel setting. You’ll shape, file, and refine your piece, smoothing out any imperfections before diving into pre-polishing and final polishing.

Next, we’ll unlock the secrets of channel setting theory—how different stone shapes affect the process, which tools and burs are best, and how to size a channel-set ring like a pro. You’ll also get hands-on with your chosen stones, learning how to review them, prep your setting, and cut the perfect seat for larger stones while spacing the smaller ones just right.

Finally, we’ll focus on those all-important finishing touches—getting your stones level, refining the setting, and making sure your ring looks flawless and professional.

By the end of the day, you’ll walk away with both new skills and a beautifully crafted channel-set ring. Let’s make some magic happen! 

Class Includes:

• Raw casting of a ring in sterling silver
• A large stone and 3 small stones (you can pick the colours at the begining of the class)
• Full day of instruction by our master jeweller
• Use of all the tools needed to complete the project
  
• Break at mid-day. (lunch not included)
